Bangalore Nano to be held in December 2008
21 July 2008Bangalore, the capital of State Karnataka India, is being promoted as the hub of nanotechnology by the state. It has already achieved success in Information Technology (IT) and Biotechnology (BT) sectors. The Karnataka state government has taken a number of steps to accelerate the growth of nanotechnology in the state.
A three day event “Bangalore Nano” will be organized by the Karnatake government in association with Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) at Bangalore during December 12-14, 2008. The event will be addressed by experts from all over the world.
The theme of the event “Nanotechnology in India’s Future” will focus on some of the key issues including the latest advances in the sector. It will provide an opportunity for researchers, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and academia to come together and discuss the hurdles and opportunities in the sector.
